Sunday, July 12
The Fellowship Board invites you to meet your UCCH neighbors at a church-wide potluck in the Fellowship Hall following the 11 am service on Sunday, July 12.
We'll be sitting with our Neighborhood Connections groups and enjoying a meal of Honey-baked ham (provided by the Fellowship Board) plus side dishes and desserts (provided by the potluck attendees).
- Don't know what your Neighborhood Connections group is? Don't worry! We'll have a team of folks at the front of the food line who will look up your neighborhood assignment and direct you to the correct table.
- "I love to eat at potlucks, but I don't cook." No problem! While we all love the homemade dishes provided by the many great cooks at UCCH, it's fine to bring cut-up fresh fruit, chips & salsa or dip, a package of store-bought cookies, etc….
We hope you'll join us for a yummy meal and an easy way to meet the UCCH members and friends who live near you.

Prayer and Meditation - Our next meeting is Sunday, July 12 in Room 163, 10 am
Prayer and meditation are powerful spiritual disciplines that ask us to find some quiet time in our busy lives to get to know God and ourselves better. In our time together, we'll learn about the principles of mindfulness meditation and centering prayer; we'll also have a chance to sit in silence each time we meet. We'll draw on Mark Barrett's book, Crossing, as we explore how prayer and meditation can help us negotiate all kinds of life experiences as well as help us deepen our faith.
